Diversity: We mean the broad spectrum of traits and characteristics that make each of us uniquely qualified to contribute positively to an organisation or society. Diversity transcends demographic characteristics like disability, gender or race.
Ethnicity: We mean the shared sense of ancestral origin, history and nationhood that identifies people or groups of people.
Organisational culture: We mean the values, assumptions and behaviours that are adopted in the workplace to meet and cope with organisational needs including shared meanings, language, norms, stories, rituals and embedded skills that define ‘how things are done around here’.
