Tilda is Britain’s number one premium rice brand, selling a variety of rice products from fragrant Thai to Basmati rice grown in the Indian highlands. As Tilda begins to dominate the specialist rice brand market their attentions have turned to marketing opportunities in Europe.
We undertook an extensive marketing research project for Tilda identifying, profiling and evaluating the hundreds of different ethnic groups that live in Europe. From our research a number of potentially profitable marketing strategies were identified for Tilda to pursue. The information we presented has allowed Tilda to develop its European marketing strategy further, enabling them to gain increased market share and ultimately improve profitability.
